The Avalon Faeries Invite You to Join the Harvest
—and Gather Wisdom from Your Ancestors as We Enter the Dark Half of the Year
The apples of Avalon are not just any apples. They are ripe with faery magic—and ready for harvest. One special apple is waiting just for you.
The days are getting shorter and cooler.
And somewhere just beyond the veil, a magical gift is waiting for you.
This is the moment the veil starts to thin, faery paths open, and our ancestors draw close, waiting at the orchard’s edge to walk us into the dark half of the year.
At the Autumn Equinox, day and night briefly stand in perfect balance.
Then the balance tips and the living world starts its slow descent into winter in the Northern Hemisphere.
And in the Celtic imagination, this isn’t simply the end of summer.
It’s the second big harvest festival and an invitation to gather what you’ve grown.
An invitation to turn inward. To listen to your ancestors, and to enter the mystery of darkness—perhaps to discover that the darkness has gifts of its own.

🍎 Journey to the Orchard of Avalon
We’ll cross the misty lake and travel to an ancient Avalonian apple orchard at twilight.
The trees are heavy with ripe fruit. The faeries are waiting to guide you.
Somewhere in this enchanted orchard is an apple waiting just for you.
You won’t know which one until you find it.
And you may be surprised by what it represents.
You’ll be invited to pick your own Harvest Apple from Avalon and discover what hidden treasure it holds.
And because this is the Otherworld, don’t be surprised if the orchard has a few ideas of its own.
🕯️ Then We’ll Follow the Faeries Into the Darkness
Once you’ve gathered your harvest, the journeys continue.
The Faeries will lead us deeper toward the Dark Half of the Year and toward the ancient territory that eventually leads to Samhain.
Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to meet an ancestor, ancestral guide, lineage keeper, or other wise presence.
You may have a specific ancestor in mind.
Or you may meet someone you’ve never consciously known about.
You might encounter a being who doesn’t seem to belong to your family tree at all—an ancestor of spirit who carries your spiritual lineage.

You don’t need to decide in advance.
Simply be open to whoever shows up.
And ask questions like:
- What wisdom do I need to carry with me into the darkness?
- What should I remember?
- What is ready to be released?
- What deserves to be carried forward?
- And what might this coming season reveal that I couldn’t see in the brightness of summer?
The space is safe. We set the boundaries and only invite beings that align with love, so no need to fear the dark.
🌒 The Dark Is Not the Enemy
We live in a culture that is remarkably uncomfortable with darkness.
We light up the night.
We try to stay busy.
We fill silence.
We rush to solve mysteries that might be better left mysterious for a while.
But nature has another rhythm.
Seeds disappear into the earth.
Trees release their leaves.
Animals prepare for winter.
Growth slows to a standstill.
Things are still happening. They’re simply happening where we can’t see them.
The Dark Half of the Year can be a time for exactly that kind of magic.
A time for growing roots.
For weaving dreams.
For gathering wisdom from our ancestors.
For allowing imagination to carry us forward.
For letting go of things that are not yet ready to reveal themselves.
At the Autumn Equinox, we aren’t saying goodbye to the light.
We’re learning how to carry it with us into the dark.

✨ Two Journeys. One Threshold.
During our 90 minutes together, we’ll move through two guided shamanic journeys:
🍎 Harvesting the Apple of Avalon
Allow the Faeries to guide you to your personal Harvest Apple, representing something you’ve gathered, grown, or earned during the past year—or maybe a treasure you never expected.
🕯️ Meeting the Ancestors
We will continue into the Dark Half of the Year to meet an ancestral or lineage guide and receive whatever wisdom you’re meant to carry into the season ahead.
You’ll also have time to integrate, share, and reflect on what you’ve discovered.
No previous experience with shamanic journeying is necessary.
You don’t have to know anything about Avalon or faeries.
And you certainly don’t need to be able to explain everything that happens.
Sometimes the strangest little detail turns out to be the most important one.
🍂 What Will You Find in the Orchard?
Maybe you’ll receive a message that makes perfect sense.
Maybe you’ll receive something that makes absolutely no sense until three weeks later while you’re standing in line at the grocery store.
That’s the best part of journeying.
You don’t have to force an answer.
You don’t have to make something happen.
You simply cross the threshold, pay attention, and see who or what is waiting for you.
Whatever it is, it always comes in perfect timing for exactly where you are now.
